• TP-Link Omada and Wifi Presentation

    Online , Australia
    Virtual Event

Join WISPAU and TP-Link online to discuss the Omada system.

The Omada ecosystem is a one-stop solution comprising several types of network devices, all managed through a unified interface.

Access Points (APs): Provide business-class Wi-Fi with high performance and range, including options for indoor, outdoor, ceiling-mount, and wall-plate installations, supporting Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 standards.

Switches: Offer flexible and cost-effective network solutions with powerful Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, Power over Ethernet (PoE) options, and multi-gigabit ports for wired connections.

Gateways (Routers): Boast excellent data processing capabilities, multi-WAN load balancing, and a variety of high-security VPN options (SSL, IPsec, PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN) to ensure stable and secure connectivity.

Controllers: Act as the command center for the entire network. Users can choose between a free Software Controller (requires a PC/server to run), a dedicated Hardware Controller (e.g., TP-Link Omada OC200 or OC300), or a subscription-based Cloud-Based Controller for zero-touch provisioning and remote management.

Join Kurt Liu , TP-Link Project Channel Account Manager online to discuss how the Omada system can be used to deliver managed services and connectivity to small to enterprise businesses.

  • ARCIA: Microwave Engineering Masterclass [Online short course] August 2026

    Online , Australia

Learn how to Plan, Design and Operate Radio Networks.

Microwave radio as a technology has been around for decades, but over the years it has transitioned from analogue to digital transmission systems and we have seen huge advances in equipment characteristics. This mix of old and new has resulted in a lot of confusion, with this course unraveling the mysteries of these multiple industry myths.

At the end of this course, you will understand the overall microwave market with an update on current and future developments, including how to apply the latest planning standards.

Microwave propagation is still analogue, and an in-depth understanding of microwave propagation and the various fading effects from weather variations is essential to designing, operating and maintaining a stable network. The new hardware improvements and features will be covered, as well as an in-depth look at antennas and the effects of interference in a digital network.

There are lots of opportunities to apply the theory with practical examples and tutorials using a training calculator that has all the basic formulas that are embedded in industry planning software tools. This allows the participants to understand the input parameters to industry planning tools plus what the output sheets really mean.
