ACMA 6 GHz band tune-up will explore potential planning options for the upper 6 GHz band (6425–7125 MHz) to enable possible radio local area networks (RLANs) and/or wireless broadband use.

ACMA will also explore the possible suitability of automatic frequency control to enable expanded use of RLANs and look at associated technical and regulatory issues.
